Léa Morin

Curator and independent researcher. Co-founder of L’Observatoire (Art and Research), Casablanca. Involved in publishing, exhibition and restoration projects that bring together researchers, artists and practitioners, her research is an attempt to contribute to a better understanding of artistic modernities, particularly cinematographic ones, rendered invisible by dominant narratives. She is particularly interested in the circulation of ideas, forms, aesthetics, and political and artistic struggles during the independence period (1960s and 1970s), and in questions of cultural decolonization.
