synopsis

Cinepoem. A poetic and Surrealist short film, conceived as a cinematic metaphor against repression. According to the director, the film is an evocation of the death of Jan Palach, and takes an implicit stance in favour of socialism with a human face. It was banned in Poland and seized in 1976.
